Days 29-33

Sebastian is doing AMAZING!!! He has surpassed every goal we have set for him and is doing better than we could have ever hoped or dreamt for. However, this little girl right here is a trooper and Aspen deserves all the praise in the world for how well she has adapted to all these changes. God knew what he was doing, when we were blessed with precious Aspen!
Some things that happened this week:
Most importantly, we maintained everything from last week ;-)
Michael joined us for Sebastian's meals on Friday (to make it more of a normal family meal setting, and Sebastian did beautifully)
We increased the amounts of table texture (solid) food from 30 bites a day to 95 bites a day!.... and have been able to decrease the amounts of pureed foods he requires
Our biggest accomplishment this week was SELF FEEDING!!! (I will spare you the story of the process we went through to get him to pick up the utensil and self feed....it was tedious, mind numbing and frustrating....but he did it!) This is huge guys, like life changing huge! Glory be to God!
Goals for this coming week:
To maintain everything moving forward
To drink the full amount of liquid from one cup
To continue to increase the number of table texture bites, while reducing pureed foods
And just to make our plan for transitioning home
We will not have another update until we are back HOME! So please continue to pray for a great last week In Omaha and a seamless transition back home to Kentucky! We are so excited to go home!
Thank you so much to each and every one of you for all of your support and love!
A few pictures are below! :-)

Loving the fort!

My life consists of helping Sebastian make the alphabet out of Playdoh....whatever keeps him happy and motivated!

Sebastian with his sweet friend, Orson....whom we are going to miss immensely.

They are buddies, both the same age and both going through the same program. So awesome to meet other families going through similar struggles. :-)

So I bought this nightgown for Aspen, and Sebastian has been obsessed with Frozen lately and he insisted on putting it on....I mean he is 3 and you only live once, haha!

This is how Sebastian rides.....with his foot out the window

Fresh haircut with a lollipop for being good ;-)

My sweet little angel Aspen!

Falls asleep with hand on chin....apparently in deep thought as he falls asleep. My heart!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your prayers and support! We love you guys!
